AIMS joins hands with Shanghai Jiao Tong University-Michigan Institute to jointly build a new paradigm of industry-education integration.

On the morning of March 23, a delegation comprising faculty and students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Michigan Institute visited AIMS for a research and exchange visit. This initiative aims to explore new pathways for developing advanced productivity through university-industry collaboration, foster the flow of talent and technology, and build an integrated ecosystem that bridges industry and education.

During the event, faculty and students visited the AIMS exhibition hall to gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s innovative achievements in the field of intelligent manufacturing. In the subsequent exchange session, Dr. Zhu Siqi, a 2007 alumnus of Michigan College and Co-President of the company, shared insights into the company’s mission and vision for development—from the historical evolution of manufacturing models and underlying technologies, to core products, business models, and operational strategies—offering a comprehensive showcase of AIMS industry expertise. During the free-flowing discussion, both sides explored key topics such as trends in industrial intelligence transformation, pain points in technological innovation, and the growing demand for versatile talent capabilities. Through this lively dialogue, participants gained a firsthand sense of the dynamic shift toward “Made in China with Intelligence,” while AIMS also benefited from fresh perspectives provided by the academic community.

At AIMS Hangzhou factory, teachers and students toured the manufacturing facility firsthand, gaining direct access to the entire intelligent manufacturing chain. Notably, the "Shanghai Jiao Tong University Social Practice Base" was officially unveiled at the event, establishing a solid and long-lasting collaboration bridge between the university and the company. This milestone signifies that both parties will embark on deep, multi-dimensional partnerships in areas such as talent development and technological innovation, ultimately creating an integrated "industry-academia-research-application" closed loop.
