AIMS core team visits Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant for training, jointly building a new cornerstone for AI-powered nuclear power plant operations and maintenance.

2025-07-07

On July 4–5, the core management team and key technical personnel of Hangzhou Augmented Intelligence Manufacturing Solutions Co., Ltd. (referred to as "AIMS") traveled separately from Hangzhou and Shanghai to Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant to attend the "Nuclear Power Plant Systems and Equipment Training Workshop—AIMS Special Session," organized by China National Nuclear Power Operation & Management Co., Ltd. This high-level, collective training session marks a pivotal step for AIMS in deepening its expertise in the nuclear power sector and strengthening the foundation of its intelligent service offerings—just days after the company was honored with the prestigious Global AI Innovation MINDS Leadership Award at the World Economic Forum's inaugural 2025 cohort.

AIMS, recently recognized globally at the Summer Davos Forum, has seen its innovative achievements rise to international prominence. Marking this significant milestone, the company is taking its collaboration with Qinshan Nuclear Power, its long-term strategic partner often hailed as the "Cradle of China's Nuclear Power," to new heights. To strengthen the integration of theory and practice, the AIMS team conducted an on-site visit the day before formal training, touring key facilities such as the Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant’s Nuclear Industry Data Center, Operations Control Center, and Main Control Room—laying a solid foundation for intuitive understanding ahead of their systematic learning journey. Leveraging Qinshan Nuclear Power’s unparalleled expertise—accumulated over more than 170 reactor-years of safety management—and its world-leading experience in operating diverse reactor types, a seasoned team of experts delivered comprehensive instruction to the AIMS technical team. The curriculum covered essential modules, including nuclear safety culture, an overview of nuclear power plant systems, equipment operation, and advanced equipment management processes. This initiative not only empowers AIMS’ technical team with cutting-edge knowledge but also represents a pivotal moment in the joint exploration and collaboration between the two organizations in the fields of industrial big data and intelligent transformation.

At the opening ceremony, Qinshan Nuclear Power leadership highly praised the past achievements of the collaboration between the two sides. Through this specialized training session, both parties reached a strategic consensus on jointly building a broader cooperation platform, fostering resource sharing, and leveraging each other's strengths for mutual benefit. AIMS stated that it will fully leverage the outcomes of this training, combining them with its advanced smart technology capabilities, to deliver even more innovative and high-quality intelligent operation and maintenance solutions to the nuclear power industry. This initiative will deeply empower China's critical national assets, helping nuclear power operations move forward toward greater safety, cost-effectiveness, and intelligence.
