Congratulations! AIMS has been honored for the second consecutive year with the Science and Technology Award from the China Nuclear Energy Industry Association.

2024-05-17

Recently, a project jointly developed by AIMS and Nuclear Power Operation Research (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Nuclear Power Operation Research Institute"), among other organizations, "Digital Reliability Management System for Nuclear Power Equipment (ERMs)" Obtain Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress, China Nuclear Energy Association, 2023 This also marks the second consecutive year that AIMS has won this award, following its recognition in 2022.

The China Nuclear Energy Industry Association Science and Technology Award is jointly established by the China Nuclear Energy Industry Association together with its member organizations and has been approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, subsequently registered with the national science and technology award authority. China's only one The award recognizes scientific and technological achievements in the peaceful utilization of nuclear energy within the nuclear industry. It stands as one of the highest honors for technological advancements in the nuclear sector and serves as a robust benchmark for evaluating a company's innovation capabilities.

The Nuclear Power Equipment Reliability Digital Management System (ERMs) is a comprehensive equipment reliability management platform developed by the China National Nuclear Corporation’s Nuclear Power Operation Research Institute. It is built upon China’s nuclear power industry internet platform, centered around nuclear power equipment reliability management processes, and leverages big data intelligent algorithms as its core technology. The system focuses on standardizing both reliability-related business practices and associated data within the nuclear power sector.

On one hand, by conducting research on equipment reliability management business models, we aim to achieve closed-loop management of equipment reliability processes and establish a highly integrated nuclear power equipment reliability management system. This will enable the standardization, digitalization, and visualization of equipment reliability management workflows, all supported by a robust business model framework. On the other hand, we are developing an early anomaly detection and dynamic alert system based on multi-dimensional sensor data fusion. This comprehensive operational support system covers the entire lifecycle—from anomaly identification and fault diagnosis to health assessment and performance prediction—enabling intelligent monitoring and diagnostics of nuclear power systems and equipment through big data, cloud computing, IoT technologies, and standardized data models.

It is reported that since the Digital Reliability Management System for Nuclear Power Equipment (ERMs) was put into operation, it has delivered remarkable results. The system enables intelligent monitoring and diagnostics of critical nuclear power equipment, helping power plants detect early warning signs of over a hundred potential failures in advance. As a result, several unplanned unit outages have been successfully prevented, significantly reducing the workload for inspections, tests, and technical personnel. Today, this system has become an indispensable tool for equipment and systems engineers to monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement—continuously supporting China's nuclear power units in enhancing their overall equipment reliability.

AIMS expert team has been serving this project for four consecutive years. Team members work seamlessly together and dedicate themselves wholeheartedly, covering diverse areas such as products, algorithms, front-end development, back-end systems, and hardware. Nearly 10 team members are stationed long-term at the customer site, committed to building and maintaining the Digital Management System for Nuclear Power Equipment Reliability (ERMs), providing customers with comprehensive equipment reliability management solutions.

Previously, the "Big Data-Based Health Management System for Typical Key Equipment (SPV) in Nuclear Power Plants," jointly developed by units including AIMS and Sanmen Nuclear Power Plant, won the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the China Nuclear Energy Industry Association in 2022.

This latest recognition with the China Nuclear Energy Industry Association Science and Technology Award is yet another testament to AIMS outstanding achievements! It also fully demonstrates AIMS expertise and capabilities in the field of nuclear power equipment health management. Driven by its robust product innovation and strong scalability, AIMS is committed to serving an even broader range of platforms.
