Recently, the national standard GB/T 43962.1-2024, "Digital Workshop Integration for Power Batteries — Part 1: General Requirements," was officially released. This standard was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation and is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Automation Systems and Integration (SAC/TC159).
This standard will officially come into effect on November 1, 2024, marking the entry of China's digital workshop construction for power batteries into a new era of standardization. Notably, As a key participating organization, AIMS contributed valuable expertise and strength to the development of this national standard.

The national standard GB/T 43962.1-2024, "Integration of Digital Workshops for Power Batteries — Part 1: General Requirements," aims to provide a comprehensive and systematic set of integration guidelines for the planning and construction of digital workshops dedicated to power battery production in China. These guidelines cover multiple aspects, including integration architecture, fundamental management requirements at the resource layer, technical specifications for the facility layer, platform-layer technology requirements, service-layer criteria, and data-integration needs. The release of this standard not only offers clear direction for power battery manufacturers in their digital transformation journey but also serves as a robust foundation for driving the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry, ultimately paving the way toward intelligent manufacturing.
